Vic and Angelos is an Italian restaurant offering a 3-course $20 lunch with menu items like Sicilian oven chicken wings, four cheese pear tortellini with truffle cream sauce, simply grilled fresh salmon, and house made tiramisu. Brazilian Beat is back in Boca Raton for the 7th year. The popular free event brings together music, art and dance in the streets of downtown Boca. The event takes place to honor and celebrate Brazilian independence.

At the celebration there will be live music, samba drummers, a Zumba showcase, delicious Brazilian cuisine and cocktails, and street dancing, including costumed dancers in a Rio De Janeiro inspired street parade.

Dioho Nogueira, one of the biggest names in Music in Brazil will be headlining the event. Nogueria is a singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist who just recently released his first album called Mundue. Throughout his decade long career, he has won the Latin Grammy for Best Samba Album twice and has been nominated for a Latin Grammy

Sinclairs Ocean Grill is offering a 3-course lunch for $20 with multiple entrée choices including a Lemon Basil Shrimp with French goat cheese, port wine blueberry compote, baby arugula, olive oil asiago crostini, and a balsamic reduction. On September 6th, Café Boulud of Palm Beach will focus its dinner event on the classic qualities of  wines produced by “family owned properties” in northern Spain. Their resident sommelier, Imre Papp, has artfully chosen a selection of Spanish wines for the evening, including a reserve by Eladio Piñeiro planned to be served at the event’s 6:45 p.m. reception.

Dinner commences at 7 p.m. with a four-course menu orchestrated by executive chef Rick Mace and head pastry chef Julie Franceschini, with each course paired with specific wine chosen by Papp.

The main course is slow-cooked rainbow trout with chilled serrano-ham consommé, trout roe and pine nuts, and lamb prepared two ways with calabaza squash, puffed grains and sweet garlic. Dessert will be
