The City of Stuart, the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast and Students4H20 are joining forces this coming Saturday, March 23rd, to combine two of their signature events — WaterFest and Mutt March — into one free event from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Memorial Park.

Mutt March is a 5K run for both people and their furry friends to kick off the event. Afterward, guests can parade their pets around the park, compete in a pet costume contest, shop at the flea-'less' market with local vendors and their wares, have their pets participate in a lure course and derby races and get a pet pic in the humane society photo booth.

The Maltz Jupiter Theater next upcoming production to take the stage Tuesday, March 26th through Sunday, April 14th is West Side Story.

West Side Story is about a young couple Tony and Maria who find themselves caught between two street gangs, the Jets and the Sharks. The pair find themselves caught up in a violent world and only to discover their love for each other. West Side Story was inspired by Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.

If you live in the Palm Beaches and your kids or grandkids are on Spring Break, come out and enjoy a fun-filled day at Patch Reef Park! Entrance to the park will be free and there will be free entertainment and arts & crafts.

Replicas of Christopher Columbus’ Ships the Pinta and the Nina are coming to Harbourside Place in Jupiter for a week. Starting Friday, March 22nd through Sunday, March 31st the ships will be docked at Harbourside Place for tours.

The Nina replica was built by hand and is considered to be the most historically correct and accurate replica of Columbus’ ships. The length of the ship is 65 feet long and the beam is 18 feet wide. Columbus sailed the Nina across the Atlantic Ocean on three voyages to the New World in 1492. Today, the replica is a floating museum and visits ports all over the Western Hemisphere.

The Pinta replica was built in 2005 and was launched in Brazil and made to accompany Nina on off the voyages. The Pinta is a larger ship at 85 feet

From elegant convertibles to wood-bodied sedans to pre-war racers, the Elliott Museum will have it all at this year’s 23rd Annual “Classics At The Beach” car show.

The Village Council of Wellington and Buffalo Trace are once again hosting their beloved Bacon and Bourbon Fest. The events is held on the grounds surrounding the new Village of Wellington Community Center and amphitheater, the free event is scheduled for this Friday and Saturday, March 22nd and 23rd.

This Saturday, March 23rd, the Loggerhead Marinelife Center will host its 16th Annual TurtleFest from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. This is a great event for Palm Beach residents of all ages, especially those interested in local wildlife and marine ecosystems.

Over 10,000 guests will join together at TurtleFest 2019 at the free-admission event which focuses on promoting conservation and endangered sea turtles. Guests will enjoy music, art, shopping, educational presentations, games, and other activities. Returning this year is the World Ocean pavilion, which features educational and fun activities focused on water conservation.

You just need to show up with your sense of adventure, have some fun and get a nice workout at the same time! At this event you will get a detailed lesson given by a certified instructor. After everyone gets comfortable on the paddleboards, you'll explore the area around Juno Park with an eco-tour guide who is also a certified Florida Master Naturalist.

Spring Break season is upon us in Palm Beach County. The Palm Beach County School District starts their Spring Break on Saturday, March 16th and the students return back to school on Tuesday, March 26th. Throughout the county there are plenty of activities going on around to keep busy.

Abby’s Performing Arts Coaching: Spring Break week is also Celebrity Week at the Performing Arts school and students who attend will learn to sing, dance, and act as their favorite celebrities. The program is aimed for children 4 through 10 years old. The camp is $250 dollars for the week and runs from 9 am to 3 pm daily. For more information, click here.
