The incorporated village of North Palm Beach is located in northern Palm Beach County along the intracoastal waterways and the Atlantic Ocean. The quite village has won an award in 1956 from the National Association of Home Builders as the best planned community. The village is home to about 13,000 residents as of 2017.
The North Palm Beach area was developed in the 1950’s by John D. MacArthur, a philanthropist. The village known for its golfing and famous PGA Tour residents is also home to the only state park in Palm Beach County.
The John D. MacArthur State Park is an eco-friendly and family orientated park complete with picnic facilities, natural trails, a Nature and Welcome Center, waterways, kayak rentals and much more. North Palm Beach is also home to the North Palm Beach Country Club, a newly remodeled Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course. The public 18-hole golf course just underwent a renovation to the course and club house. The golf course, tennis courts and driving range facilities reopened earlier this month. While the clubhouse remains closed due to construction. The links-style course runs alongside the Intracoastal and is just one of two Nicklaus’ Signature Municipal courses in the United States. The course is a premier destination spot to golf in Florida.
