This Saturday is the last Green Market in downtown West Palm Beach until the fall. Since October, the waterfront of West Palm Beach hosted their weekly Green Market every Saturday for the past 24 years.
The Green Market has been the ideal place to gather fresh foods and local goods from more than 90 vendors and this Saturday, April 20th is the last Green Market until October 6th. The local vendors offer a variety of special foods, fresh local produce, plants, herbs, spices, gourmet foods, baked goods, home made crafts, artwork and much more.
The market runs from 9 am to 1 pm and since Saturday is the last one until October, the Mayor’s Office of Sustainability will be giving away free trees on a first come first serve basis. The free trees are available for West Palm Beach residents and city business owners with city limits. Each address can pick from a selection of up to 2 trees which are native or Florida friendly. Palm Beach County will also be onsite giving vouchers to residents who don’t live in West Palm Beach but within the County limits. The vouchers will be good at select nurseries within Palm Beach County.
