In Palm Beach County, there are plenty of Yoga studios and events for you to try. All levels of Yoga are welcomed to attend any of the activities listed below.

Twilight Yoga at the Light: Occurs every Monday at the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum. The class takes place on the lighthouse deck while the sun is setting over the water and the Jupiter Inlet. Every week from now until December, Rosemary Square in West Palm Beach hosts a weekly workout class.

Come and channel your inner drummer and performer and head to Pound for a free workout class. The class mixes movements and music together and the class is led by Alina Orenstein. The class is a drumming exercise class with weighted drums sticks designed to transform drumming into a fat burning, and body interval workout.

If you plan on attending, you are asked to bring a towel, water, and a mat. The workout class is this Friday from 6: 30 pm to 7:30 pm in Rosemary Square at the top level of the Hibiscus parking garage (level 6).

The Juno Beach Fishing Pier is a popular attraction in Palm Beach County for local fishermen and tourists for fishing and photos of the view.

The 990-foot-long fishing pier is a T-shape that offers visitors a full-service Pier House and great salt-water fishing. The Pier House at the beginning of the pier is filled with a guest service team, bags of ice, a gift shop, snacks, drinks, and various fishing gear. You can also rent fishing poles daily from the Pier House.

The pier is part of the Loggerhead Marinelife Center’s Responsible Pier Initiative which is a program designed to work directly with fishing piers and fishermen to promote a healthy pier environment for the Marinelife and sea turtles. The program is the first is in kind and started in 2012 and

Brooks Koepka has had one heck of a 2019 already.

The Jupiter resident won three times on the PGA Tour this past season, including the PGA Championship and the World Golf Championship - FedEx St. Jude Classic. The PGA Championship win brought his major total to four, all since 2017. He also had a few near misses at the Masters and U.S. Open, adding to his moniker of the new king of the majors. 

All his success on the course resulted in a lot of fanfare and headlines off the course as well. Brooks won the regular-season points and money title, has already been named the PGA of America Player of the Year, and will likely be named PGA Tour Player of the year as well. Every Monday during the month of September, the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum hosts their weekly Twilight Yoga At The Light event.

The popular event is open for all level of yoga and the class is taught by Yoga instructor Mary Veal. The class begins at sunset and you get to experience the serenity and relaxation of yoga on the Lighthouse deck.

If you plan on attending, you’ll need to bring your Yoga mat, a water bottle, and a flashlight. The class will meet 10 minutes prior to the starting time of the class. The classes are weather dependent and last approximately an hour, check their website for more updates.

Next Saturday is the 6th Annual Chase N Tailz Fishing Tournament taking place at Harbourside Place in Jupiter.

The Fishing Tournament is for all ages and benefits a local children’s charity that funds families with very sick children.

The tournament starts at 6:30 am on Saturday, September 7th and those who wish to participate can go out of any inlet they choose, and launch form any boat ramp. Those who start before the 6:30 am start time will be disqualified from the tournament.

Weigh in starts at 2pm and goes until 4 pm. All boats that are participating must be checked in with the tournament check in boat at the Jupiter Inlet no later than 4 pm. The weigh in stage is located at Harbourside Place and the fish must be bought in by boat and must have a
