When you think of the country's best cities for nightlife, chances are you think of Las Vegas, New York, Los Angeles. But, if you live in South Florida, there is a place that’s a lot closer to home and no, it’s not Miami, it’s West Palm Beach!

Last week Apartment Guide released its rankings for the 50 best cities for nightlife. West Palm Beach was ranked number 12 on their list which factored in “the ratio of bars, clubs, breweries and music venues to the population” of cities with more than 100,000 residents.

West Palm Beach has just over 100,000 people and has 1 nightlife related business for about every 1,700 people, that’s even more than Miami. Here are a few other great things about living in West Palm Beach.

This Saturday, December 22, Palm Beach Weekly is presenting an Ugly Sweater Bar crawl in West Palm Beach.

The event will last about four hours and will take place at four different West Palm Beach bars, starting at Roxy’s Rooftop.
