The Kravis Center for Performing Arts is more than just a gorgeous performing arts venue- the Palm Beach County landmark is a non-profit committed to enriching the lives of students and educators in South Florida by providing engaging and enlightening arts education programs. In fact, since opening in 1992, the Kravis Center has provided access to the performing arts for about 2.3 million schoolchildren.

You may ask how this improves our youth in the community, and while as an Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts alumni I may want to say “It just does”, there are actually studies to prove it. The Norton Museum of Art in West Palm presents Art After Dark for summertime. 

Now through July 12th the museum will be open late on Thursdays for fun events throughout the evening like gallery walk and talks, art workshops, live music, happy hour drinks and special lectures.
