Jogging

If you are into running or jogging, or just want to get a scenic walk in to start the day, there’s no better place than The Palm Beaches. Watching the sun come up by the Juno Pier as your run takes you along Ocean Drive in Jupiter is truly breathtaking. On Saturday morning, this run has three water stops set up all the way to the Jupiter Inlet. Another great place to run is along Flagler Drive in West Palm Beach.

Full Moon Yoga will be happening this Saturday night, May 18th, at 8pm. The event will begin with a thirty-minute discussion about the growing CBD trend with Dr. Michelle Weiner and Cannera product samplings for this Full Moon Yin Yoga practice. Actual yoga practice will begin at 8:00pm.

Carlin Park

At Carlin Park, you can jog either on the mulch-lined track/obstacle course or right along the water. Either way, it’s a scenic option that’s sure to give you your share of vitamin D and fresh air along with everything else you typically get from jogging.

Riverbend Park

Riverbend is a 666-acre park split by the Loxahatchee River is a good, shaded spot to run on some more rugged trails and enjoy some tropical foliage. There are 10 miles of trails, mainly on compacted shell rock. Design your own route here. There is some nice running along the river. Riverbend to Riverwalk loop is 2.5 miles. Park

Come out to the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum tonight, May 6, to experience the serenity of Yoga with Mary Veal on the Lighthouse Deck at sunset. This is an all levels class and beginners are welcomed and encouraged! $10 per person. Bring a yoga mat, water bottle and a flashlight. The studio “Downward Goat,” which hosts classes in both Loxahatchee and Broward, specializes in what is known as caprine vinyasa. That is, yoga with baby goats.
