Tequesta

The Town of Jupiter and the Village of Tequesta are nestled between Palm Beach Gardens and Stuart. Both areas cater to the outdoor style, as they wrap around the Loxahatchee River and Intracoastal Waterway, which provide incomparable views to residents. For this reason, water sports and boating are abundant. Jupiter and Tequesta also offer their share of championship golf courses and pristine beaches frequented often under consistently sunny skies.

Tonight and tomorrow, Saturday the 5th, are your last two opportunities to see The Lighthouse Art Center’s “Art Of The Figure” exhibit in Tequesta.

Art Of The Figure celebrates these three native-born Floridians, who surprise and delight with their unexpected viewpoints, talents, and techniques. Accomplished artists, they translate their individual life experiences using only pencils and paint on canvas, or in the case of Purvis Young, (2018 Florida Artist Hall of Fame), anything he could get his hands on. See Young's work here first, before it heads off to the 2019 Venice Biennale. The three artists being shown are Sam Perry, Terre Rybovich and Purvis Young

The results are in; Das Beer Garden offers the most diverse variety of craft beer in Palm Beach County.

America has seen an enormous boom in the craft beer market, with beer enthusiasts demanding more complex and tantalizing varieties than the previously dominant light lagers. As recently as 2012, the duopoly of Anheuser-Busch InBev and MillerCoors controlled nearly 90 percent of beer production.

In the last decade, independent breweries have expanded by a factor of six, and while Americans are actually drinking less beer than they did in the 2000s, they’re often opting for a superior product, like one of the 100+ beers available daily at Das Beer Garden in Jupiter’s Downtown Abacoa.

Craft breweries have focused on tastes that were

Save The Date! On Saturday, December 1st, Jupiter’s Harbourside Place is generously hosting a Holiday Boat Parade Watch Party from the roof deck of this luxurious waterfront location.

This exclusive event will run from 6:00PM until 9:00PM, and will include dinner and an open bar, with proceeds benefitting the AustinBlu Foundation.

In case you’re not a Jupiter local, the AustinBlu Foundation is very close to our community’s hearts. The foundation was formed in the wake of a tragedy involving two young boys who were lost at sea on July 24th, 2015. Their love for the ocean reminds Jupiter boaters to take great joy in boating, but to respect the majesty of the sea by taking precautions to prevent this devastating accident from happening again. The Florida “cold snap” this weekend has lows in the 60’s rolling through, producing ideal conditions for sailfish cruising through. Kitefish with goggle eyes in 120-250’ of water, and after your first sail, target a tighter area around that depth. A few dolphin are still in the equation off Palm Beach Inlet, but no strong numbers seem to be showing up.

The snapper bite has been solid lately, with large muttons and yellowtail congregating on the reef. Live ballyhoo, sardines, or midsized pinfish work great.

Inshore fishing has slowed down quite a bit, with Snook and redfish becoming finicky to the tide. You’ll have to feel out each spot for what tide works best, and keep a close eye on it once you figure it out.

It’s no secret that Palm Beach County is an ideal locale to reconnect with a loved one. It is a pretty spectacular setting for romance and family bonding time. The warmer days and cooler evening temperatures make for time with your loved one.  Everything from a waterfront dinner al fresco, perhaps U-Tiki, or the stereotypical long walk on the beach in the moonlight can create sparks. Stunning ocean views are the perfect backdrop to fall in love.

The romantic couple or family bonding moments can take place outdoors. Share something memorable. Keeping in mind that everyone’s idea of romance or family bonding is different. Quality time doesn’t have to be glitzy! Although it’s very nice, perhaps try something minimalistic like everything Palm Beach has to

Alright, so you got your license. There are still some things you need to have on-board your boat before you set sail. In Florida the following minimum boat safety equipment is required on all Class A recreational boats (less than 16 feet in length), canoes and kayaks:
