The Town of Jupiter and the Village of Tequesta are nestled between Palm Beach Gardens and Stuart. Both areas cater to the outdoor style, as they wrap around the Loxahatchee River and Intracoastal Waterway, which provide incomparable views to residents. For this reason, water sports and boating are abundant. Jupiter and Tequesta also offer their share of championship golf courses and pristine beaches frequented often under consistently sunny skies.

The bite was scarce last weekend, but it seems to have been picking up this week due to the full moon. A few wahoo are starting to show up from the full moon and mild cold front, especially closer to the Bahamas. Around here, 150-400’ is where wahoo have hooked up along with blackfin tuna. Troll with small feathers during lowlight for tuna, and use the small ones to catch wahoo. Another option is to pick up a local favorite Junkanoo Lure and high speed troll in a zig-zag pattern. Halloween in Hobe Sound will require you running for your life (slightly exaggerated). Zombies have been spotted! Are you up to this years annual Halloween “You Can Run but Not Hide” Race at the Pine School’s campus?  This a great family friendly event, so bring the young and the young at heart.

Beware on October 19th, 2018, as the zombies will be running amongst us.  A zombie is a corpse that has been turned into a creature having a crusade but not a rational thought and very hungry. It's best to come out dressed in a Halloween costume or zombie outfit. To endure the race, you must traverse a 5K course with off-road and street terrain. The run is easy. It's avoiding the zombies that can get a bit thorny, specifically they're after your flags.
