The Florida Keys are just a short drive from South Florida, it is a string of tropical islands that stretch as long as 120 miles off the state of Florida’s southern tip, running between the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico. Key Lime flavorings come in all types’ from pies to soups to tasty garnished martinis. The Florida Keys is hosting, The 3rd Annual Key Lime Pie Festival. The celebrations can be fun and an unforgettable experience as they have a lot of unique style serving the delicious side of pizzazz. Come down to the birthplace of Key Lime Pie for a real taste of what the Florida Keys are all about.
The Key Lime Pie Festival will be from July 2-4,2015 and will be offering lots of activities such as, samplings of rum made with real key limes that are grown in the Florida Keys and tour the first legal rum distillery in Key West. Have fun book signing the Key Lime Pie Cookbook with Chef David Sloan and enjoy the drink and judge at the Green Parrot Bar. Or cheer on the brave contestants as they dive face first into mountain of Key Lime goodness and a talent show on the side of the 7- Mile Bridge along with soo much more!
