The Martin County Fair
The fair is back in Martin County now through February 17th!
The Martin County Fair is actually a 501c3 non-profit organization whose goal is to entertain and promote community traditions, talents, diversity, vision, and agricultural heritage.
It is the largest event in the county attracting more than 70,000 people. The fair has been held for the past 55 years and the money raised goes to improve local facilities, scholarships to students, and programs for Martin County youth.
Entering the fair you'll see many farm animals and livestock and learn about them. Hundreds of vendors display their art, food, and much more. The Fire Department gives demonstrations, you'll pass by magic shows, pageants, dances, pig racing, and live music. If there's something you like while you're passing through, stop and enjoy!Â
At the larger part of the fair, more than 30 rides are set up including the favorites Hydra, Typhoon, and Fireball. These thriller roller coasters are super fun and exciting. For those wanting something with less twists and turns, there are rides like bumper cars and the tea cups.Â
There are a ton of special events that happen each day at the fair, for a schedule click here. The Martin County Fair is a much anticipated yearly event attracting many people from southeast Florida. For more information and tickets, click here.Â
