Did you know that this week is National Wildlife Refuge Week? You can celebrate with FREE family friendly activities at the Hobe Sound Nature Center.
Wednesday, October 16th at 9am – Join Hobe Sound Nature Center at the Hobe Sound Refuge Beach (North Jupiter Island) for a “nat chat” and walk to see what the ocean has brought ashore. (Bring your own Binoculars).
Thursday, October 17th at 1pm – At the Nature Center for a Seahorse program, followed by the Hobe Sound Nature Center Seahorses and lagoon tank feeding.
Friday, October 18th at 1pm – At the Nature Center for “Snakes Alive” presentation, followed by a feeding demonstration of Hobe Sound Nature Center’s Teaching Snakes.
Saturday, October 19th from 10:00am – 12:00 pm – Join at the Nature Center for a free ceramic animal to paint and take home. (This is on a first come first serves, while supplies last).
Saturday, October 26th from 6:30pm – 8:30pm – Join Hobe Sound Nature Center for their Nocturnal Night at the Museum. You will get the chance to meet live nocturnal animals from the Palm Beach Zoo. There will also be crafts, face painting, games and a costume contest for children and adults. (This program is recommended for families with children ages 4 and up).
All of the events at Hobe Sound Nature Center are FREE, but donations are graciously accepted and appreciated!
