According to the American Heart Association, walking at least 20 minutes a day can reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke. Aside from choosing the stairs over the elevator and parking further away from the store, here’s a list of scenic areas in the Northern Palm Beaches to get your steps in!

Jupiter Beach

Location: 14775 U.S. Highway 1, Juno Beach

It’s about 4 miles of coastline from Juno Pier to Jupiter’s South Jetty, making there and back 8 miles!

The Gardens Mall

Location: 3101 PGA Boulevard, Palm Beach Gardens

Walk in the a/c in this two-story enclosed shopping mall, and window shop more than 160 specialty shops and restaurants. Jupiter Medical Center event organizes mall walking events regularly through Walk this Way Mall Walking Club.

Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum

Location: 500 Captain Armour's Way, Jupiter

Jupiter’s proud lady of the inlet is 105 steps to the top for a breathtaking view or turquoise waters and incoming sportfishing yachts.

Constitution Park

Location: 399 Seabrook Rd, Jupiter

Besides playgrounds, tree houses, a rock climbing area, basketball courts, and fitness stations, this park also has a ¼ mile walking trail.

Coral Cove Park

Location: 19450 County Hwy 707, Tequesta

2,610 feet of beach frontage translates to a ½ mile walk of natural limestone and refreshing seabreeze.

F.I.N.D. Park

This dog-friendly park has two fenced in areas for dogs to socialize and exercise, as well as a fitness trail for humans!

John D. MacArthur Beach State Park

Jonathan Dickinson State Park

Riverbend Park

Riverbend Park is a 665-acre park in Jupiter Farms which includes almost 10 miles of hiking/biking trails, 7 miles of equestrian trails and 5 miles of canoeing/kayaking trails.

Tequesta Park

This 45-acre dog-friendly park has a 1-mile walking trail.
