Lilly Pulitzer was a stylish Palm Beach socialite whose husband Peter owned several Florida citrus groves in the area and needed a project of her own. She opened a juice stand just off of Worth Avenue in Palm Beach and became a huge success and soon realized she needed an outfit that can hide the stains from the oranges, lemons and limes. Her brand was formed when herself and a local dressmaker made a dress filled with bright colors and prints. Her brand will be celebrating their 60th anniversary in 2019.
Lilly Pulitzer has several stores in the area including: The Gardens Mall, The Breakers Hotel, The Town Center at Boca Raton, and on Worth Avenue.
