You’ve started looking for your dream home and before you go any further it’s time to get real.  Cash, currency, or funds, call it what you will at the end of the day it’s all the same … MONEY!  You’re going to need it to purchase this dream home.  Assuming you are not paying cash, the first step is to get pre-qualified for a mortgage.

Why get pre-qualified for a mortgage?  It will give you a guideline as to how much you can afford.  The vast majority of sellers will not entertain an offer unless the buyer is pre-qualified or a cash offer.  It will also let you, as a buyer, know how much you need as a down payment and give you an estimate of closing costs.

Bud Kline, Mortgage Consultant, with FBC Mortgage LLC can assist you with all your mortgage…

Before you start looking for your dream home you may want to sit down and make a list of items you wish you could have in this dream home.  Better yet, grab a piece of paper and fold it in half, on one side of the paper, place at the top of the paper the page the label “Wish List” and on the other side the fold line place the label “Needs”.  Now start filling in “Wish List” side.  Begin jotting down ideas as to what you would like to have in your dream home.

It may be 5 bedroom suites/ 5 and ½ bathrooms/ 6,000 square feet/  with a guest house/ 3 car garage/ on direct ocean access.  If you can manage to move forward with your dream home purchase, fantastic!  If not, get pre-qualified for the type of home on your “Wish” list after you narrow it down…

Photographs and paintings made by Admiral’s Cove residents graced the walls of the Eissey Campus Theatre in Palm Beach Gardens this Spring as part of the Admiral’s Cove Art Exhibition.

The wide-ranging pieces of art, which include oil, acrylic, watercolor, sculpture and stained glass, all were created by the hands of homeowners. Gary Bard, a glass artist who produced the showcase, said the talent that thrives within the Admiral’s Cove real estate is astounding.

“We are always amazed at the talent in our community,” Bard said. “It seems to be better each year. Who knows, there may be a new Picasso in the group.”

The exhibition encourages residents to show off their creative side and has grown to 45 artists. The pieces are hung in the clubhouse…

Another beautiful day in paradise! The sun is glistening on the crystal blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean off the Jupiter, Florida’s white sand beaches.  Local fishermen are catching pompano right off the beach coastline as the sun rises colorfully over the horizon.  The colors of the early morning sunrises in Jupiter are enough to get most local artists out with easels and brushes.

No need to leave your best friend at home.  Jupiter is home to one of the only dog friendly beaches in the State of Florida.  Dogs are allowed in the “non guarded” areas from Juno Beach to Jupiter.  It is requested that your pet is on a lease or under your voice command at all times, that you clean up after your pet, and that your pet is not bothering other beach-goers. …

After many years in the making, a 36-foot tall piece of the World Trade Center has been erected as a memorial, in Palm Beach Gardens this past Saturday. The column serves as a memory of the tragic day our nation was attacked on September 11, 2001. The monument is a 36-foot, 12-ton piece of twisted steel that was a column from the 110 story, World Trade Center. Intense heat and flames warped the metal when the plane hit the building.

Today, the monument can be enjoyed and stand as a symbol of our strength and recovery. Eight-foot tall glass panels will encase the metal monument. Etched into the glass are 3,000 names of victims whose lives were claimed by the tragic day. Many of the names are those of the brave…

Trapper Nelsons

The infamous Trapper Nelson’s ghost reportedly haunts the calm interior waters of the Loxahatchee River. Many years ago, in the 1930’s until the 1960’s, a gigantic man who stood almost six and a half feet tall, weighing 240 pounds, lived deep in uninhabited beauty of the Loxahatchee River and Jonathon Dickinson State Park. His given name was Vincent Nostokovich and was born in Trenton, New Jersey. This man was the modern day “Croc Hunter - Steve Irwin” and was described as the “wild man, of the Loxahatchee River”.

Trapper Nelson built his cabin and a zoo deep up the Loxahatchee River into the interior of the Northern Everglades. He was a hunter and only killed what he would eat. He caught so many creatures, like panthers and alligators; he…
