The 2019 Susan G. Komen South Florida Race for the Cure is coming up this Saturday, January 26. The event begins at Meyer Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach

The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure is an important annual event that raises significant funds for the breast cancer movement, thanks to supporters and survivors around the world who step up and take action by fundraising for the cause. 100% of the net proceeds from the event go to support the organization’s mission:

75% of the net income stays in the community to help fund local programs offering breast health education and breast cancer screening and treatment.

The remaining 25% goes toward Susan G. Komen Research and Training Grants program.

In addition to raising funds for the breast cancer movement, the event also increases awareness, celebrates breast cancer survivorship and honors those who have lost their battle with the disease.
