South Florida residents like to live a healthy lifestyle. Maybe it’s because of our year-round beach weather? Regardless, there are many ways to stay fit in the Palm Beaches outside of the gym. Here are a few of our favorites.

Jogging

If you are into running or jogging, or just want to get a scenic walk in to start the day, there’s no better place than The Palm Beaches. Watching the sun come up by the Juno Pier as your run takes you along Ocean Drive in Jupiter is truly breathtaking. On Saturday morning, this run has three water stops set up all the way to the Jupiter Inlet. Another great place to run is along Flagler Drive in West Palm Beach.

The Palm Beach Show, formally the Palm Beach Jewelry, Art and Antique Show is coming back for another year. The show is in its 17th year and this year, the show has a new name. The Palm Beach Show will be taking over downtown West Palm Beach this February 13th through February 18th.

The Palm Beach Show is the largest show in its kind and one of the top cultural events in Palm Beach County. The prestigious art fair features international exhibitors displaying fine works of art from around the world, prestigious jewelry, fine artwork, beautiful antique pieces and much more.

Hog Hammock Trail is one of West Palm Beach's newest trails, it is composed of crushed concrete and has lots of intermittent boardwalks. The area is a combination of restored and natural wetland communities including cabbage palm hammocks, mesic pine flatwoods, forested wetlands and cypress domes. Restrooms and water is available in the parking lot. The trail is perfect for a leisurely hike.

After walking or jogging the Hammock Trail you may want to head over to the Cypress Boardwalk which is about one mile away. Cypress is a mile-long boardwalk extending through marsh and cypress swamp. Calling all photographers and photography enthusiasts, FotoFusion is heading back to downtown West Palm Beach this February. FotoFusion is a five-day event presented by the Palm Beach Photographic Centre in West Palm Beach.

Around 70 of the best photographers and instructors from around the country and world come to West Palm Beach for the festival every year to teach workshop events and display their works. The five-day event is more than the workshops and photography, the event includes an Opening Receptions, informative lectures, discussion panels, a Farewell Bash and much more.
