Palm Beach County's newest art collective, music venue and barbeque spot are known as The Peach.  The building complex is located at 3950 Georgia Avenue in West Palm Beach.  The name was inspired by its home street Georgia, think of a Georgia peach.  The venue opened this weekend.

A 98-year-old World War II veteran took quite a ride on Saturday. Walter Alesi, a resident of Stuart, joined the Marine Corps out of high school after the attack on Pearl Harbor.  Alesi and four of his brothers served in World War II.

Alesi was gifted a flight from Stuart's Witham Field in a Boeing Stearman biplane courtesy of Dream Flights. Dream Flights is a non-profit organization dedicated to “giving back to those who gave”.  The Dream Flights organization was established and dedicated to honoring seniors and military veterans.

Steak lovers prepare for a delicious new steakhouse heading to Jupiter! Truthfully, not a completely “new” restaurant but a sister steakhouse of the renowned Okeechobee Steakhouse.  Owner Ralph Lewis announced he just signed the lease for the former Giuseppe's Italian Restaurant on the corner of Indiantown Road and Central Boulevard. Lewis plans to open Lewis Steakhouse sometime around November 1, 2021. 

Lewis stated “My goal has been to open a restaurant to which I could give some ownership to my longtime employees. The Stuart Air Show is coming back to town November 12-14, 2021. Aviation enthusiasts and people passionate about giving back to the community will love the 2021 Stuart Air Show.  The Martin County skies, in Stuart,  will be occupied with thundering sounding jets and flying stunt planes as part of the annual Stuart Air Show. The 3-day air show will take place at the Witham Field Airport.

Jupiter is located in northern Palm Beach County and offers canine owners the added advantage of being able to bring their beloved dogs to the beach.  It is not just any section of the beach though.  The dog-friendly section stretches for 2 ½ miles along A1A.  Specifically, from crossover #25 on the south end to #59 on the north end.

Keep dogs on leash or under control and always supervised. It is a busy road, please leash your pet from the car to the beach, around small children, at the water fountains, showers and at the crossovers.  Jupiter residents and visitors are very fortunate to have a Town Council and Beach Committee that support the idea of dogs on the beach.
