On the heels of last week's charity golf event that saw Dustin Johnson, Rory Mcllroy, Rickie Fowler, and Mathew Wolff raise over $5 million dollars for Coronavirus relief efforts, Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson took to the golf course Sunday to do the same, and they brought some friends with them.

Joined by Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady and retired NFL quarterback Peyton Manning, the four took to the links at Medalist Golf Club in Hobe Sound and raised $20 million for COVID-19 charities.

While Tiger and Peyton defeated Mickelson and Brady 1-up to win the match, the real winners were not just the fans at home who got to watch live golf for the second straight week, but also all the charities that will benefit from the money raised.

A year and a half ago, Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson came together on a golf course in Las Vegas to play in a one-on-one, made for TV golf event. The event, held the day after Thanksgiving, was watched by millions of people and received a mixed bag of reviews. Many expected that since the two were wearing microphones and the event was on PPV that we would get to hear a lot of back and forth banter that wouldn't normally be heard on a golf broadcast.

Well, Tiger and Phil have decided to give it another try, this time with some friends and benefiting COVID-19 relief.

"The Match: Champions for Charity" will be a team event pairing Woods with retired NFL quarterback Peyton Manning against Mickelson and Tampa Bay Bucs quarterback Tom Brady.

With everything going on right now, our daily routines have changed greatly. While finding some sort of normalcy in our new daily routines can be tough, given the current restrictions, there are some things that we can continue to do.

One of those things is golf, albeit with some slight modifications. In fact, golf is one of the things on the approved list as far as outdoor activities go. Here are some things to consider as you go out and hit the golf course:

Continue To Practice Social Distancing

It is recommended that when you are out that you stay 6 feet away from the person closest to you. The good thing about golf is, if you are following the rules correctly, you will be way more than 6 feet away from the person or group playing in front…

The Premier Golf League was supposed to be the golf league of the future. 18 events featuring the best golfers in the world battling it out every week for money that no other golf league, including the PGA Tour, could even fathom to offer.

Sure, there were some logistical issues, including the morality of where the money was coming from (Saudi Arabia) as well as how it would affect things like the majors and the Official World Golf Rankings. For the most part though, it seemed like a dream come true for golf fans.

Well, at least for now, that dream seems to appear to be dead. Several weeks ago Rory Mcllroy, the number 1 golfer in the world, came out and said he would not be a part of the PGL. In addition to not feeling comfortable with where the…

Over the years, South Florida, specifically the Jupiter area, has become the mecca for pro golfers.

While Jack Nicklaus was the first to call the northern Palm Beach County area home, Tiger Woods relocating to Jupiter Island in 2010 started the "boom" that has resulted in the top golfers in the world flocking to south Florida. Today, the likes of Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson, Justin Thomas, and Rickie Fowler all live in the Jupiter area, making it one of the premier golf communities in the country.

It also looks like they are about to get a new neighbor.

At his press conference on Wednesday as the host of this week's American Express tournament in La Quinta, California, Phil Mickelson mentioned that he and his wife Amy recently purchased a…
