Experience Jupiter’s gorgeous beaches with a new perspective, by taking a guided tour of the beaches with the knowledgable staff of Loggerhead Marinelife Center. The “Living Beaches” tours show you just how alive the beach ecosystems of Florida really are. From the dunes to the ocean and even the sand, its all full of life.

Every Monday morning at 10:30am, the tours begin.  “Living Beaches” tours are interactive, providing the guests with a great opportunity to ask questions, touch and feel the environment.  The staff give an educational lecture as you walk along the beach. the discussion covers the different types of plants and animal species that reside in the beach environment and their relationships with one another.  Each tour lasts about an hour and during the summer it can be quite hot so make sure to bring a water bottle along with you.

Guests of the “living Beaches” tours have the unique opportunity to get yup close to the coastal organisms that live at the Floridian beaches such as turtles, birds, fish and even dolphins.  If you love the local coastal environment and want to learn more about the plants and animals that live in it, you must try a “Living Beaches” tour.
