Alright, first of all, is there anything better than watching The Masters from the restaurant or clubhouse of whichever course you just finished your own round at? The Palm Beaches and Martin County have so many great golf courses, and they'll all be packed this weekend. Watching the best players in the world (many of whom are Palm Beach County residents) play Augusta National just gives everyone the itch to get out and play. Luckily for all of us here in South Florida, the weekend weather outlook appears to be outstanding: full sun, high-70s, and less wind than the pros are facing.

But, aside from the clubhouse (or your couch) where are the best places to watch The Masters in the Northern Palm Beaches this weekend?

1000 North

This is the obvious choice. If you don't know the history of 1000 North, here's the most important detail, partners/part owners include:

  • ERNIE ELS
  • MICHAEL JORDAN
  • DUSTIN JOHNSON
  • RICKIE FOWLER
  • LUKE DONALD
  • KEEGAN BRADLEY
  • JUSTIN THOMAS
  • CAMILO VILLEGAS
  • BRYAN GUMBEL
  • SERENA WILLIAMS
  • BROOKS KOEPKA
  • JACK NICKLAUS
  • GARY PLAYER
  • RORY McILROY

If you want to watch many of those people play while you're sitting in their restaurant, then 1000 North is the way to go.

The Woods

Similarly, if you want to watch the 5-time Masters Champion get after another one while sitting in his own establishment, then head to The Woods in Harbourside. Happy hour runs from Monday to Saturday from 3 pm to 6 pm at the bar and high tops, and the menu is mouthwatering. The Woods also does a great brunch if you want to head over to watch the pros tee off.

World of Beer

Most people in Northern Palm Beach County have probably never been to the World of Beer on Southern Boulevard down in Royal Palm. But here's why it's a great place to watch The Masters: it has a Top Golf Swing Suite. It's an outstanding sports bar in its own rite, but if you want to play while you watch, then this is a great way to get your fix of both.

DriveShack

Similarly, Drive Shack over by the airport has a ton of TVs that you can watch while playing and having a snack or drink in the swing bay.

Sports Bars

Here are some typical places (many with multiple locations in PBC and Martin) that are great for watching any sporting event, golf included:
