Blue Heron Bridge Night Dive

Posted by Gerald Lombardo on Wednesday, March 27th, 2019 at 9:16am.

Force-E Scuba Center is hosting a night dive under the Blue Heron Bridge this coming Saturday.

Recommended equipment: primary light, back up light and tank light.

Required equipment: Each dive group must have a state legal dive flag with light mounted on top.

Blue Heron Bridge

Blue Heron Bridge has to be the best shore dive in Florida and the USA. With masses of marine life including Moray eels, Turtles, Seahorses, Frogfish, yellow sting rays, eagle rays, flying gurnards, batfish, angelfish and many more.

The relatively shallow depth makes this a great dive for all levels of diver and anyone that likes marine life. For photographers and videographers you have lots of natural light and great macro and super macro life.

The dive at Blue Heron Bridge is best started approximately 1 hour before posted slack high tide to avoid strong currents and limited visibility. Stargazer at the Blue Heron Bridge Night Dives at the Bridge bring on a whole new dimension and a completely different set of marine life. Join us for a Night Dive Specialty where we can look for the Star Gazers and Octopus hunting as well as all the Lobster out in the open
