Bluewater Babes Fish For a Cure is an all-female fishing tournament that has had Floridians anticipating the festive mix of fishing, boat decorating, and creative costumes all year round. Not only has it been labeled the most fun tournament you’ll ever fish, but Bluewater Babes uses funds raised to provide direct support to local breast and ovarian cancer patients in financial need with its “Out of the Blue” financial assistance fund.

Since it has grown throughout the years, now sportfishing yachts and center consoles from all over the world flock to Palm Beach Inlet for an event they just can’t miss. Marking the 10th anniversary, Bluewater Babes is planning to kick it up a notch for their loyal and very generous supporters.

“The tenth year is a big one, and we’re excited to make this year even more memorable than ever before.” Jennifer McGrath, Director of Bluewater Babes, says “We are not just a local tournament anymore; with the enormous amount of support we’ve received, we’ve gone national.”

This year, the Bluewater Babes mermaid logo will feature the addition of a crown and champagne flute to celebrate the anniversary and the planning committee has worked a few more “surprises” into the mix, including a spectacular fireworks show! The Jupiter Lighthouse will be lit up pink for the duration of the tournament, the costume and cocktail contest will be judged by secret local celebrities, and the boat decorating contest and water gun fights will take place at Sailfish Marina Resort before a Bimini start at Palm Beach Inlet at 8 am.
