Jupiter is home to one of the few remaining dog-friendly beaches in the State of Florida, and the only one in Palm Beach County. The Town of Jupiter adopted a policy in 1989 to allow dogs to roam freely on the beach.

The dog-friendly beach area stretches 2.5 miles from beach marker #25 at Marcinski Road to beach marker #59 at the south end of Carlin Park. In this designed area, your dogs are allowed to run the beach from sunrise to sunset.

In order to keep Jupiter one of the few beaches to allow dogs to roam freely, the Town has adopted rules and regulations that they ask pet owners and pets to follow. Being able to bring your dog to the beach is a privilege and The Friends of Jupiter provide free dog waste bags at every cross over along the 2.5 mile stretch for you to use.
