Palm Beach County is an excellent area to live especially if you appreciate and love the outdoors. Most everyone is familiar with the miles and miles of beaches, waterways, and palm trees; however, some people are unaware that our area also has some beautiful state parks. Here are two favorite local state parks.

John D. MacArthur Beach State Park in North Palm Beach features snarls of mangrove marshlands and trails that meander through canopies of trees. People innately love being near the water. Just the act of looking at a body of water measurably lowers stress levels. Jupiter and several other beach towns in Palm Beach County and Martin County have made the list for the "50 Best Beach Towns To Live In" according to WalletHub. The survey and study compared and rated beach towns across the United States.

Every beach town has its pros and cons, and the ratings were based on six categories for the study. The categories were weather, safety, affordability, education, health, and quality of life. The towns and cities ranged in population and most cities and towns on the list are in the state of California or Florida. Palm Beach County and Martin County have a few beach towns that have made the list.

Ever wonder how many shades of color can be seen in the waterways, skies, or preserves of Jupiter and Tequesta? I have no idea either, but you can attempt to keep a count of the various shades with a libation in hand at one of the local waterfront eateries. Be intentional and mindful of the colors you perceive in nature.

With water in varying blue shades of the Caribbean Sea, shell-filled beaches, a chill relaxed vibe from the 6.2 miles of Atlantic coastline there are more shades than can be mentioned. The blue color of ocean water is an inherent property caused by the selective absorption and scattering of white light. The housing experts say the market is “normalizing.” But what does that mean for the Palm Beaches? Will home prices in Palm Beach County and rents finally come down? Will more homes go up for sale? And what does the year ahead have in store for the real estate market?

Every year The Heights of Jupiter puts on a Christmas light display worth the drive.  This Jupiter neighborhood collaborates to create a beautiful display of Christmas lights and they never disappoint! You can spend over an hour absorbing all the showy inflatables and dazzling lights.

The Heights of Jupiter is a community of 1,500 single-family homes in the oceanside town of Jupiter.  The official name of this subdivision is North Palm Beach Heights, but most locals simply refer to it as the Heights. It is located between I-95 and Abacoa.
