The Mall at Wellington Green has announced it will be accepting drop-off donations from the public, local businesses, and charitable organizations for Hurricane Ian relief. The donation program began on October 6, 2022. The Mall at Wellington Green is located at 10300 West Forest Hill Boulevard, Wellington. The Mall at Wellington Green is partnering with Stuart, based D.O.A. Fishing Lures, will transport donated items to Hurricane Ian besieged communities on the West Coast of Florida.

Donations will be accepted Monday – Friday at 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m.; and Saturday – Sunday, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The mall’s donation drop-off site is located on the first floor across from California Pizza Kitchen.

Palm Beach County has declared annually every second Saturday in December to be Andrew “Red” Harris Artificial Reef Day! The Andrew “Red” Harris Foundation was created to honor the memory of Andrew Harris, a Jupiter resident, who was struck by a boat while snorkeling in the Jupiter Inlet in 2014. The foundation’s mission will help assure the long-term health and vibrancy of the local marine environment where Andrew loved to dive and fish. This will be a day to celebrate Andrew’s life and the reef work done in his memory.
