Sandi, the world's only 600-ton sand tree, is returning to West Palm Beach! Sandi has become a magical tradition in the area, carrying a story every time she comes back into town, telling us about where she's been and what she's been doing the whole year. She sings, lights up, and tells stories every night. The 35-foot tree is currently being sculpted and will be finished and lit along with an unveiling on November 30th.

Sandi's return to Sandi Land will be celebrated at 6 p.m. with the Valerie Tyson Band, an exhilarating group notorious for getting the part started, performing today's hits, classic rock, R&B, and reggae. 7 p.m. will be the lighting of Sandi and she will tell her new story of the adventure she's had, this year's story entitled "Sandi's Holiday Tail." Apparently she also has a secret surprise for everyone this year! Santa and Mrs. Claus will be making an appearance during the lighting and that's only the beginning. A Capella performances by Generation Gap, lots of fun in the whimsical SnowieVille, and other seasonal kick-off activities will be going on. There's face painting, princess Elsa, the Grinch, and mini golf. Glow FORE it Mini Golf will be set up and offering free rounds every Monday through Wednesday while Sandi is in town- not to mention everything else at the tree lighting celebration is free for the family.

Don't forget to bring Fido because Sandi loves bringing holiday cheer to pets too! Her efforts this year include getting her furry friends in Palm Beach County adopted, partnering with several local rescue organizations. Come see Sandi right on the waterfront in downtown West Palm Beach a week after Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 30th at 6 p.m.
