Ring in the holidays at the Palm Beach Zoo with exotic animals and breakfast with Santa and Mrs. Claus! Perhaps, “Rainy days and Mondays” got the Carpenters down because they didn’t live in our area!  If the immensely popular brother and sister duo from the 1970’s had chosen South Florida, they might have found plenty of things to do on a rainy day, but they wouldn’t have had that Billboard Top 100 record and their fourth gold single!   

If you’re not familiar with the duo The Carpenters, they were in great demand in the 1970’s.  Richard and Karen created a soft musical style that made them top selling artists when most contemporary music was hard hitting rock and roll.   They recorded 11 albums and television specials.
