Eighth Annual Anchorage Park Fishing Tournament

On August 17, the eighth annual Anchorage Aweigh Fishing Tournament will be held at Anchorage Park in North Palm Beach.

Teams will consist of a captain and three anglers and there will be inshore and offshore divisions for both adults and juniors. Offshore fish will include kingfish, dolphin, wahoo, grouper, and mutton snapper. Inshore fish will include trout, sheep head, and snapper.

The entry fee is $150 per boat before August 12. After that, the entry fee will go up to $200 per boat. There will also be a Kayak Division this year with a $35 entry fee before August 12 and a $45 entry fee after.

Weigh in will take place at Anchorage Park between 12pm and 3pm with a awards picnic following starting at 5pm. For more information on the fishing tournament and to register your boat, visit the Village of North Palm Beach's website at www.village-npb.org.
