One of the many nice things about living in Palm Beach County is that even in Winter you can spend time on the water. Here are a few fun things that you are sure to enjoy.

Kayaking

Kayaking is seen as nice and relaxing water activity. Kayaks can hold up to one or two people depending on the type and size of the kayak. You can come and explore Florida’s nature by gliding down the waterway and getting a good workout in while doing it. Several parks, as well as the Intracoastal, offer a nice adventure. Here is a list of some of the local parks to kayaking through Peanut Island, Okeeheelee Park, Jonathan Dickinson State Park, Loxahatchee River, John D MacArthur State Park, and much more.

Snorkeling

Come swim through the reefs and see a number of different fish, crabs, colorful reefs, and much more. Snorkeling is the perfect activity to see the unique Marinelife in our area. The perfect spot for beginners and experts is the snorkel trail at Phil Foster Park. Snorkelers have seen in the past spotted stingrays, octopus and squid. Also, the snorkel lagoon on Peanut Island is great too. For more experienced divers and snorkelers, the Ocean Reef Park in Riveria Beach is one of the best in the area for seeing unique Marinelife.

Paddle Boarding

Paddle Boarding is becoming an extremely popular water sport that provides great exercise and strength. The key is paddleboarding is balance and practice. Great places to go paddleboarding in our area include: Riveria Beach Marina, Downtown West Palm Beach, Jonathan Dickinson State Park, the Loxahatchee River, and Phil Foster Park just to name a few.
