FISH FOR A CURE KICKOFF PARTY for BLUEWATER BABES
Do you have a passion for fishing, have the courage to battle and recognize the power ladies have, especially when they work together?
Well, one of the most talked about as well as one of the most entertaining charity event in our South Florida community is gearing up for its 7th Annual Fishing Tournament. Bluewater Babes: Fish for a Cure!
This year, Bluewater Babes is being presented by Waterfront Yacht Brokerage, Dex and Sailfish Marina on October 2 & 3, 2015 and will be kicking off the party this Thursday September 17, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Square Grouper Tiki Bar in Jupiter, Florida.
The two day fundraising event is all about supporting long-standing local charities: Cancer Alliance of Help and Hope and Hearing the Ovarian Cancer Whisper (H.O.W.) as well as Kristin Hoke Breast Health Program at Jupiter Medical Center. The charities have raised contributions in excess for those fighting breast and ovarian cancer. These women are undergoing financial hardship and the funds donated from the tournament assist them with everyday living expenses such as rent, car payments, and health insurance. This allows the women the chance to concentrate on healing, especially since Bluewater Babes is now a 501 (c)3, which is able to provide direct support through "Out of the Blue" financial assistance fund.
"Bluewater Babes invite you to join us in our efforts – whether by fishing, joining in the fun and festivities of the tournament or simply donating to our cause. Together we can truly make a difference for local cancer patients in need!"
Be at the Kick-Off Party on Thursday 9/17 to support from 6pm - 9:30pm:
• $10 donation to Bluewater Babes (Includes light appetizers, Bluewater Babes Koozie, a drink ticket for a Tito's Handmade Vodka cocktail or a draft beer from Tequesta Brewing Company and live music)
