FISHABLE SALTWATER PIERS in BROWARD COUNTY

Broward County is one of the leading destinations for fishing in South Florida. It has 24 miles of white sandy beaches which offers angler plenty of chances to catch many of the game fish that call the Atlantic Ocean home, including flounder, tarpon, cobia and among many more tasty treasures. Broward County provides access to many of the best fishing piers.

1. Deerfield Beach Fishing Pier:
The Deerfield Fishing Pier is 975 feet in length and has a plenty of features such as a bait shop with rod and reel rentals, benches, lighted cleaning tables for the common catches which include; Croakers, Permit, King Mackeral, Bluefish, Snapper and Pompano.

2. Hillsboro Inlet Park Fishing Pier
The Hillsboro Inlet Park is a small public park that sits on the Intracoastal Waterway and has an entrance to the scenic view of the Atlantic Ocean. This small charming park has beautiful views of the historical lighthouse and there are benches surrounding the perimeter of the park. There is a small playground and a self-rental bicycle station.

3. Anglins Fishing Pier
The Anglins Fishing Pier extends about 900 feet and offers shaded structures on the location, restrooms, benches, and includes a bait shop.

4. Dania Beach Fishing Pier
The Dania Beach Ocean fishing pier is about 900 feet in length over the Atlantic waters and is lit up for night fishing too. Onsite there is a bait and tackle shop which includes snacks and drinks. Also, small shaded structures, benches and restrooms. “

All the piers listed holds a fishing license that is issued by the State of Florida which allows any and all individuals to fish on the piers without obtaining a license personally, this can be a great way for out of state persons to enjoy some South Florida fishing without having to purchase a license.
