Mark your calendars, for Saturday and Sunday, November 22-23, 2014, a two-day musical and seafood event will take place along the Intracoastal Waterway with great food, boundless music all day, and unique juried art vendors at Kelsey Park on the Intracoastal, 600 Lakeshore Drive, Lake Park, Florida. It is located south of North Palm Beach and just west of Singer Island.
Check out the Lake Park Seafood & Music Festival. Headlining the “Friends feeding Friends” benefit at the concert, sponsored by 103.1 WIRK country radio station and Pirates Well, is Grammy winning Montgomery Gentry! This southern duo is known for their “southern rock” influences and have collaborated with Toby Keith, Charlie Daniels and members of the Allman Brothers Band, among others. They have produced over six studio albums and more than 20 twenty chart singles on the Billboard “Hot Country Songs” charts. They have had number one hits like “If You Ever Stop Loving Me”, “Lucky Man”, “Roll with Me” “Back When I Knew It All”, “Gone”, and others.
It is a great event with local seafood and lots of music all day long. Plan on a fun filled family event with activities such as paddleboard races, corn hole competitions and a lot more to make the festival memorable for everyone.
Please support the Lake Park Kiwanis and “kick off” the “Friends feeding Friends” food drive by bringing a canned good or nonperishable item to donate to the Palm Beach County Food Bank. For more information on the FREE festival, please visit www.facebook.com/lakeparkseafoodfest .
