Jupiter is home to one of the very few remaining dog friendly beaches in the State of Florida and the only one in Palm Beach County. The Town of Jupiter in 1989 adopted a policy to allow dogs on the beach. Today, the town has a 2.5 mile stretch of the beach that is dog friendly.

The Jupiter Dog Beach stretches from beach marker #25 at Marcinski Road going north to beach marker #59, the south end of Carlin Park. In the designated area, dogs are allowed to roam freely and must be supervised at all times.

Dogs are allowed on the beach from sunrise to sunset. Parking is free along A1A or public parking lots at Carlin Park or Marcinski Road.

The Town of Jupiter has a set of rules they would like everyone to follow when bringing your pet to the beach. Being able to bring your dog to the beach is a privilege and The Friends of Jupiter provides free dog waste bags at every cross over along the designated dog-friendly stretch of the beach.
