With Summer here and the kids at home, you may be looking for new, fun places for them to spend their time. Here are a few great Summer camps for kids in the Palm Beaches.
Marinelife Center
Loggerhead Marinelife Center’s summer camp programs are interactive, educational and stimulating. Each camp is geared towards children ages 6 through 17. Students participating in the Jr. Marine Biologist summer camp program will gain an understanding of various nature-related topics such as (but not limited to) ecology and marine biology, with an emphasis on conservation.
Lion Country Safari
Each day Lion Country Safari's Safari Day Camp is filled with fun, adventure, and hands-on learning. Campers ages 6-12 will enjoy animal encounters, themed crafts and activities, swimming, and adventures in both the 4-mile drive-through preserve and Safari World walk-through amusement park.
Armory Arts Center
The Amory Arts Center is filled with fun and creativity for ages 6-18. The Armory Arts Center offers high-quality art education, including drawing, painting, sculpture, jewelry, fashion, ceramics, animation, and printmaking.
Palm Beach Zoo
Each week at the Palm Beach Zoo offers a wildlife theme featuring zookeeping activities, behind-the-scenes tours, scavenger hunts, enriching conservation education activities, and interactive fountain time. Kids will enjoy up-close animal encounters, animal exhibit visits, crafts, games, and much more.
MacArthur Beach State Park
MacArthur Beach State Park is offering six weeks of camp programs, giving young naturalists the opportunity to learn about the coastal ecosystems of South Florida. Campers will not only learn environmental concepts, explore the ecosystems, and conduct scientific investigations but will have a great time doing so. Older campers will also have an opportunity to kayak and snorkel, while younger campers will explore the beach and learn basic scientific concepts.
Palm Beach Marriott Resort & Spa
Youngsters ages 4-12 can take part in the Kids Club, with daily activities customized to each child’s age and interests. On the menu are crafts, sports, and seasonal adventures from sand art and hair braiding to water balloon games, treasure digs, and sea shell expeditions.
Ballet Palm Beach
