Have you always wanted to learn how to wakeboard but did not know where to start? Wakeboarding is a 30-year-old water sport with origins in both water skiing, surfing, and snowboarding. Learn this exciting watersport in West Palm Beach at SHARK PARK 561. The cable watersports park is located at 1440 Eshleman Trail in West Palm Beach.

When first invented in Australia in the 1980s, wakeboarding was originally named skurfing and used binding less hand-made boards designed specifically for the sport. These days, skurfing has died off with the introduction of wakeboarding, which uses bindings. In wakeboarding, the rider is fastened to a board and towed behind boat at speeds of around thirty miles per hour.

An experienced rider can ride the surface of the water, as well as perform wakeboarding tricks behind the boat. If you already know how to wakeboard, take a lesson and up your game with some new tricks.
