LOCAL CITIES PEDDLE MARINE UPGRADES
South Point Pier Latest Marine Upgrades
South Pointe Park is a 17-acre inner-city park in the dazzling city of Miami, located in the vicinity of South Beach, Florida, which had recently been reintroduced by many marine improvements.
This new version of the pier has new features for fishing, special occasions and leisure. South Pointe Pier is setting to become a big principal in the flourishing community. “The Pier gives people another attraction to visit, says the director of tourism, culture and economic development in the City of Miami Beach.”
South Pointe Pier is a destination that is a must see due to its artistically crafted entry gate, perfect viewing stations to the sparkling Miami Beach skyline and cruise ships passing, there are covered and shaded structures and a pedestrian plaza. This pier is also being used for special occasions like morning yoga sessions and nighttime fireworks spectacles.
Even nautical life was well-thought-out and reflected in this upgraded pier, such as the installation for turtle safe lighting. “We have amber lighting so the turtles can lay their eggs and nests on the beach, with minimal artificial light. We prevent hatchlings from becoming disoriented and dying.”
South Pointe Pier isn’t single-handedly alone in the improvement of marine facilities; Hollywood and Dania Beach are restoring their marinas too. Revamping marine and angling areas is a no-brainer in the South Florida boating world and it’s roughly a $10 Billion dollar marine industry. South Florida is a core staple for boat restoration, boat trades, fishing, and diving, marine study and watercraft activities.
