Peanut Island is not only great for swimming, snorkeling and fishing, but you can camp on this beautiful eighty-acre park too.

Peanut Island is located in the Intracoastal Waterway near the Lake Worth Inlet, close to Phil Foster Park, the city of Riviera Beach and the Port of Palm Beach. If you do not have your own transportation to the Island, don’t fret, the Peanut Island Shuttle Boat can get you there. The shuttle runs 7 days a week every 20 minutes from 10:00am – 5:00pm.

The Island offers seventeen campsites that include a tent pad, grill and picnic table. There are restrooms and hot indoor showers, as well as a large fire ring. For a single campsite, it is $31.64 per night and for an extended campsite, it is $63.28 per night. Reservations are required.

Along with camping, enjoy a day of swimming in the guarded area on the southeast side of the Island. There is also a guarded snorkeling lagoon with an observation walkway along the outside of the lagoon for awesome viewing of a variety of marine life. If you prefer to fish, there is a fishing pier located on the northeast side of the Island.
