MAKING STRIDES AGAINST BREAST CANCER WALK of PALM BEACH… SATURDAY, OCTOBER 19, 2013

Participate this Saturday in the fight to end breast cancer and join the American Cancer Society with the local “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” Walk of Palm Beach, Meyer Amphitheater, 104 Datura Street, West Palm Beach. The event begins at 9:00am. Register online, and get there early.
Your reason for participating in the walk may be as unique as the story that motivates you. Perhaps you have been personally affected by breast cancer, you are a survivor, or maybe you have lost a mother or sister to the disease and are walking in her memory.
American Cancer Society wishes to “express hope that this become breast cancer’s last century”. Waterfront Properties and Club Communities have formed a “Team Waterfront” comprised of associates, employees, family and friends that hope to heighten the awareness about early detection and screening, improving treatment for local area people greatly increasing their chances of survival.
With no known cure for breast cancer, early diagnosis is crucial for survival. Breast cancer knows no boundaries – age, gender, socio economic status or geographic location. Raising awareness on the importance of early detection and screening has been on the forefront of the Waterfront Properties Team mission.
