Celebrate Carnival at the Pompano Beach Brazilian Festival- the largest Brazilian Festival on the southeast coast of the U.S. The festival was ranked the “Best Brazilian Festival in the Country” and projects an audience of 20,000 this year.

The party will feature four headliners including Elba Ramhalho, Chimarruts with special guest James McWhinney of Big Mountain, Marcelo D2 and Don & Juan. There will be a local talent show, acrobatic performances by Capoeira acrobats, Samba dancers and percussionists with live upeat music, a kick-off gospel show and a community awards ceremony.

There will also be nearly 50 multi-cultural food vendors, a kids zone with carnival games, bounce houses, DJ tower and the Stage, designed as a giant canvas by Brazilian artist Valter De Morais.

The 7th Annual Pompano Beach Brazilian Festival will be held on Saturday, Oct. 20th from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Sunday, Oct. 21st,  from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The cost is $5 and kids 13 and under are free.
