Come celebrate the start of Hanukkah in downtown Delray Beach on December 12th. A special tradition, the lighting of the first candle on the Menorah will be at sundown on Tuesday (around 5:30 p.m.).

The ceremonial lighting will take place on the grounds of Old School Square Park. It will be held right in front of the famous 100-foot tall Christmas tree. The huge tree is also a tradition in Delray, and it is a festivity for the people in the area. You can walk through the 100-foot Christmas tree and see different scenes like Santa's Workshop, a reindeer barn, and Twas the Night Before Christmas house. Travel & Leisure Magazine has named the tree the best Christmas tree in Florida.

Celebrate Hanukkah with the customary lighting of the first candle. Enjoy the holiday festivities going on all around you including mini golf, carousel rides, and ice skating! Cool weather is finally coming and at the perfect time! Enjoy the holidays in downtown Delray this coming week.
