A unique new tapas restaurant opened in West Palm last week on the Clematis waterfront.

The spot is called Tapeo and it's a two-story restaurant with a casual vibe to sip wine and dine downstairs and a white-tablecloth, traditional atmosphere upstairs. On the lower floor you'll find eye-catching art by New York graffiti artist Raul Rubio and on level two you can get incredible views from huge windows overlooking the downtown Waterfront Commons.

Tapeo is open for lunch and dinner offering a menu full of variety. The lunch menu includes plenty of salads priced $8.95 to $12.95, classic soups like lentil, gazpacho, and seafood, Spanish-style sandwiches for $12.95 and a selection of entrees featuring traditional rice dishes, pork chops and steaks.

The tapas menu presents more than 30 small plates from $6.95 to $15.95. It includes classics like gambas al ajillo (garlic shrimp), chistorras (Spanish sausage), meat and cheese boards and Galician-style octopus. For dinner you'll find many Valencian-inspired plates, meats, fish and other seafood dishes.

Tapeo hours are:

Monday-Wednesday: 11:30 a.m.-10 p.m.

Thursday-Saturday: 11:30 a.m.-1 a.m.

Sunday: 11 a.m.-9 p.m.
