If you are seeking a new adventure and do not have access to a big ‘ole sportfish, try chartering!  There are endless opportunities for you and friends and family to go out on a fishing charter here in Jupiter. 

Because Jupiter has been proclaimed one of the best sport fishing areas in Florida, the business of fishing charters has flourished. Here are two highly recommended local captains who know the waters of Jupiter like the back of their hands.  

Adrenaline Rush Charters

Captain Timothy Mackay is an experienced captain who has been offshore fishing in Jupiter his entire life. He offers offshore trips, including swordfishing trips for small parties of 4 or less. All trips include bait, tackle, ice, and water, with live bait for an additional charge. He also offers Gulfstream “Run-and-Gun” trips if you’re looking for big mahi-mahi.

Black Dog Fishing Charters

Capt. Bill Taylor is a very friendly captain known to always have a successful charter. The Black Dog departs from Jupiter Inlet twice daily, and is licensed for up to 20 passengers. This charter specializes in drift fishing, and always catches loads of snapper, grouper, triggerfish, and cobia, but can put you on mahi or other pelagics if that's what you're looking for.

Blue Heron Fleet Drift Fishing

The Blue Heron was established in 1955 by Capt. Harry Nagel. This three-vessel fleet is family-owned and operated, and offers indoor cushioned seating, ladies' and men's restrooms, and settees for catering. "Miss Blue Heron" is an 88' Breaux Brothers out of Riviera Beach, the "Blue Heron II" is a 72' Breaux Brothers, and a 35' Contender is also available for a six-person private charter by reservation only. The Blue Heron Fleet departs twice daily and catches kingfish, snapper, grouper, mahi-mahi, sailfish, cobia, barracuda, sharks, bonita and wahoo.

Country Club Drift Fishing

"Country Club" is a 44' charter fishing boat licensed for 30 passengers, and walk-ons are welcome. Capt. Barton has 40 years of experience and specializes in drift fishing off the coast of Palm Beach and Jupiter, Florida. Catches include snapper, grouper, kingfish, dolphin, wahoo, tuna, cobia and sailfish. Located near the mouth of the Jupiter Inlet, this boat departs twice daily and is also available for private sightseeing cruises, sand bar excursions, and burials at sea.

Dog House Fishing Charters

"Dog House" is a 33' L&H Custom available for full, ¾, or ½ days for up to six passengers, and they specialize in catching sailfish, mahi-mahi, wahoo, and tuna. They also catch snapper, kingfish, Spanish mackerel, swordfish, and shark if you're so inclined. Dog House charters must be scheduled in advance, and they depart in the morning from Jupiter Inlet. They are also available for overnight Bahama trips.

He has been sportfishing all over the world, and he shares his world-class fishing knowledge by offering offshore charters on his 37’ Merritt named “Do Stay” to honor his children, Douglas (“Do”) and Stacy (“Stay”). Capt. Lou will put you on sailfish, wahoo, dolphin, cobia, kingfish, and blackfin tuna, and offers Bahamian charters and sandbar cruises as well.

El Cazador Sportfishing Charters & Services
