County Commissioners announced today that beaches in Palm Beach County will officially reopen this coming Monday, May 18th. This is great news Palm Beachers eager to get back in the sand and sun.

Residents are, however, being asked to act responsibly by not gathering in groups of more than 10 people and by maintaining safe social distancing.

Social Distancing

  • Keep at least 6 feet away from others.

  • Avoiding gathering in groups, including at a friend’s house, parks, restaurants, shops or any other place. This applies to people of all ages; children too shouldn’t have in-person playdates.

  • Avoid crowded places.

  • Cough or sneeze into your elbow.

  • If you feel sick, stay home! And, if your sickness continues, call and make an appointment to get checked for the coronavirus.

  • Wash your hands often, including every time you go to or use the bathroom.
