The Jupiter Medical Center Loggerhead Triathlon produced by the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce is one of the longest enduring triathlons in the state of Florida. Dating back to 1985, triathletes have made the trip to Jupiter year after year to enjoy the magnificent Oceanside setting, the family-friendly atmosphere, and the competition. The event has become a "must do" on the southeast race circuit and has spawned some of the top triathletes in the United States. In 2018, Jupiter resident Steve Jackson achieved 1st place with a total time of 00:55:15.0.

Chasing Caterpillars Triathlon
Location: Stuart, FL

Located in the beautiful city of Stuart, Florida, Chasing Caterpillars Triathlon attracts all levels of triathletes from beginner to the top performers in the state. Proceeds from the event go to the Treasure Coast Down Syndrome Awareness Group - and the members of that group help in all phases of the race - as well as having some participation from the kids. It is a fun for all event, always well attended. Included in the event is the option for the "Team Challenge" - which pits the local clubs and teams against each other for trophies and bragging rights - teams getting points from their team members podium finishes which are totaled to determine the top teams!

Florida Olympic Sprint & Olympic Triathlon
Location: Jensen Beach Park, Hutchinson Island, FL
Month: May
Located off the coast of Martin and St. Lucie counties, Hutchinson Island is a barrier island bordered by the Atlantic Ocean on the east and the Indian River on the west. Athletes will swim with the current and exit the water just outside of Jensen Beach park, leading into a fairly flat and fast bike course, and an out and back run course. Last year, the Matthew Beattie achieved first place in the Olympic triathlon with a total time of 01:51:35.19.

The Bill Bone Tropical Triathlon is a USAT Sanctioned sprint triathlon/duathlon/aquabike race on the self-proclaimed most beautiful course in Palm Beach County. Race route includes spectacular ocean vistas and a bike course that includes a bridge challenge along with a fun downtown loop in the fast 13 mile course. Finish with a run that includes a view of the Snook Island preserve and an Intracoastal path as you sail through Bryant Park and Historic neighborhoods. On your return to the beachside you will be awarded category Medals including "Finisher" medals for taking part in this fast race register, and celebrate your accomplishments.

The Peter Blum Family YMCA, Run for Funds Florida, Go Athletics Florida and Doghouse Multisport are introduced the first ever Women's Only Triathlon to the South Florida area. This triathlon is for girls and women ages 11 and over. The triathlon is for beginners and seasoned triathletes alike, and all athletes are welcome.
