If you love fresh flowers, produce, and artisan foods then you are thrilled with the peak of "green market" season! Locals buy local organic fruits and vegetables from various farmers markets in the area. The fresh markets run weekly during the “green market” season and offer a host of family fun with some dynamic locales on the waterfront, featuring food trucks, baked goods and plenty of sampling.
The largest and oldest green market in the area is along the waterfront in West Palm Beach. Saturday’s at the West Palm Beach Green Market are bustling mornings. Between 9:00am – 1:00pm, Downtown West Palm Beach is pulsating with activity with over 70 vendors of locally owned crops, specialty products and agricultural products.
Green Market at Wellington on Saturdays is located at 12100 Forest Hill Boulevard, rain or shine! This market features selections from fresh produce to coffee and doughnuts. Here you will find artists and crafters selling jewelry and other unique items. Kids will enjoy the barrier free playground “designed to meet the needs of all children”.
Jupiter's Harbourside Farmer’s Market is on Sunday's along the Intracoastal. This fresh market, also known as the Jupiter Green and Artisan Market, is located beneath the Indiantown Road Bridge on Sundays from 10:00am-2:00pm at the Riverwalk Events Plaza. The bridge offers a shady breather from the sunshine and “umbrella” covering for inclement weather. Rain or shine, check out the fresh, locally grown fruits, vegetables and herbs. This market also offers prepared foods such as fresh pasta, pesto, sauces, and artisan cheese’s.
