We have extended our stages of entertainment, where it is now people crave for more. Now that we are a little further down the rabbit hole, with creative, entrepreneurial professionals landing positions that are very obscure. A fun bedazzled job introduces the professional mermaid, whose work and lifestyle can take her all over the sphere. “Mermaids may be a fantasy saved only for children’s stories or Disney movies, but mermaids are as close as anyone can get to the real deal.”

Splashing mermaids are known for drifting across the oceans, entertaining events and underwater mermaid sightings to help raise concentration for the importance of ocean conservation. Some mermaids also have the chance to swim with marine mammals worldwide. It is amazing how fast this sub-culture is growing, however being a mermaid in South Florida takes a whole lot of work and training. “Fort Lauderdale’s Marina Duran-Anderson is an aquatic performer or, as some may dub her, a real-life mermaid. She plays one every Friday and Saturday at 6:30 p.m. at The Wreck Bar at the Sheraton Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel on Seabreeze Boulevard.”

To become a real-life mermaid, it requires constantly working out to be very agile in the water, all while convincing the audience that mermaids are perfectly fine holding their breath underwater for several minutes. If you love the water and devote yourself to the concentration of our oceans and get through the depth training of becoming a mermaid, you are in! Some say being a real-life mermaid imbues them with some kind of superhuman powers of confidence!

Add the fascination of a real mermaid to your next event, project, advertising, boat shows, festivals, commercials, fundraisers or bring new customers to your establishment and a mermaid will positively "lure" them in! Mermaid appearances are an easy way to bring attention and it’s something people won’t forget! Imagine the surprise of your guests when you decorate your swimming pool with a live mermaid!
