Free, Public West Palm Beach Pickleball Courts

Okeeheelee Park, West Palm Beach:

Located in West Palm Beach's Okeeheelee Park, the West Palm Beach Pickleball Complex is a premier destination for pickleball enthusiasts. With six dedicated, lighted, outdoor courts, this facility offers a fantastic environment for players of all skill levels. And if you're also looking for some great public golf, then Okeeheelee has 27 holes and is one of the better public courses in the area. The complex hosts leagues, tournaments, and social events, providing ample opportunities to engage with fellow pickleball and golf enthusiasts and improve your game(s).

Lilac Park/Plant Drive Park, Palm Beach Gardens

With 12 courts and a great lighting setup, Lilac/Plant Drive Park is quickly becoming one of the most popular places to play pickleball in northern Palm Beach County. The courts are situated on the south side of Lilac Street (so, technically across the street from Lilac Park and closer to being a part of Plant Drive Park). A central location off of Military Trail and between the PGA and Northlake exits on 95, it's a convenient place to meet up for a game.

Carlin Park, Jupiter:

Carlin Park in Jupiter also has six outdoor courts, and is an all-around beautiful park right by the beach. In Palm Beach County, Jupiter is known for keeping its parks clean and in good shape. Plus, there’s nothing quite like cooling off in the ocean after a round of pickleball in the South Florida sun.

Lake Lytal Park, West Palm Beach:

Just south of Palm Beach International Airport lies Lake Lytal Park. Aside from six dedicated (and lighted) pickleball courts, Lake Lytal Park also has fields for soccer, baseball, and softball, as well as courts for tennis, racquetball/handball, and basketball. Throw in a playground, lap pool, and interactive water playground for the kids, and you have one of the most underrated parks in the area.

John Prince Park, Lake Worth

John Prince Park is a sprawling 726-acre recreational destination located in Lake Worth. Along with its six lighted pickleball courts, its scenic lake, campground, sports facilities, and emphasis on environmental preservation have created a wide range of activities and amenities for visitors of all ages and interests. From boating and fishing on the lake to its golf learning center, there's something for everyone. The park's commitment to sustainability and its nature center further enhance the overall experience, making John Prince Park a memorable destination for outdoor enthusiasts and families alike.

Tequesta Park, Tequesta:

In the vibrant town of Tequesta, this is a charming community park with a range of recreational amenities. With its beautiful landscape, picnic areas, and playground, it’s a stunning location. Tequesta Park also has six lighted, dedicated pickleball courts, which provide a space for friendly matches, organized play, and community events. These courts offer an opportunity for players of all skill levels to engage in this popular and fast-growing sport. Whether you're a seasoned player or new to pickleball, Tequesta Park's pickleball courts provide an inviting setting to enjoy the game and connect with fellow players in a picturesque park setting.

The other public parks in Palm Beach County with dedicated pickleball courts are Burt Aaronson South County Regional Park, west of Boca Raton, and Caloosa Park in Boynton Beach. If you're looking to play pickleball in your own private community, then look out for another blog post on all of the members-only pickleball clubs as well as those communities that have invested in private courts for their residents.
