Riverbend 5K Green Run!
The 6th annual Green Run is returning to the Riverbend Park on Saturday, February 20th. This race supports the work of the Jupiter Environmental Research and Field Studies Academy (JERFSA) at Jupiter High School. The Academy is a four-year Magnet school program designed to meet the needs of students who wish to pursue an academic curriculum with an emphasis on environmental studies. The mission is to receive and administer funds for the purpose of engaging, promoting, and supporting environmental education, environmental stewardship, and environmentally responsible citizens.
The Green Run will be held on the beautiful shell rock trail at Riverbend Park.
Race day events will include a 5K chip timed run and a one mile kids run. There will also be "Green" vendors displaying environmentally friendly services and products.
Start Time:
7:30 AM - 5K Run/Walk (all ages)
8:30 AM - 1K Kids Run (Kindergarten - 5th Grade*)
*Must be no more than age 10 as of 2/20/16
8:45 AM - Awards Ceremony
Prizes will be awarded in each race class and gender
Registration Fees:
5K Pre-Registration - $30 - Day of $35
5K Student (up to 18) Pre-Registration - $25 - Day of $30
1K Kids (K-5) Pre-Registration - $15 - Day of $20
Cash/Checks only on the day of the race.

DIRECTIONS: The entrance to Riverbend Park is located on the south side of Indiantown Road just 1 mile west of the turnpike entrance.
THE COURSE: The 5 kilometer (3.1 mile) course begins and ends at Riverbend Park, a hidden treasure in the heart of Jupiter. The crushed coral race pathway takes you through a beautiful nature preserve which is home to many native Florida animal, bird, and plant species.
